Arrival in Sri Lanka & Coastal Welcome in Negombo
A Goalie Tours representative welcomes you at the airport and transfers you to Negombo, keeping the first day close to the airport after the long flight.

Negombo to Sigiriya
Travel inland toward Sigiriya through changing landscapes, from coastal towns to coconut country and the drier plains of the Cultural Triangle. An optional stop at Pinnawala or Kurunegala can be arranged.

Anuradhapura & Mihintale Day Excursion
Travel north for a guided exploration of Anuradhapura, one of Sri Lanka’s most important ancient capitals, including major stupas, monastic remains and the sacred Bodhi precinct.
Continue to Mihintale, a peaceful hill complex associated with the introduction of Buddhism to Sri Lanka.

Overnight Stay: Sigiriya
Sigiriya to Polonnaruwa and Back
Keep the day flexible after the full-day excursion. Early risers may choose Sigiriya Rock Fortress, while Pidurangala offers an alternative viewpoint.
After the hike, we will drive directly to Polonnaruwa Ancient City. In there you will explore ancient ruins, palaces, stupas, and many more historical monuments.
After the Polonnaruwa site exploration, you will do a wildlife safari in Minneriya National Park.
Later drive back to Sigiriya.

Sigiriya to Kandy
Travel south toward Kandy, with the option to stop at Dambulla Cave Temple or a spice garden. In the afternoon, explore Kandy by tuk-tuk, and in the evening visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic during a puja period.

Sigiriya to Kandy
On this day, you will travel to Kandy from Sigiriya.
Your first stop is Dambulla Cave Temple. Next you will stop at Nalanda Gedige Temple.
In Matale, you will visit Matale Hindu Temple and a Spice Garden.
Next, you will come to Kandy and visit the famous Temple of the Tooth relic temple. Then you will participate in the Kandy Cultural Dance show.
Later you will check in at your hotel in Kandy

Kandy City tour and Ambuluwawa
In the early morning, you will visit Kandy View Point and Bahirawakanda Temple. Next you will visit Peradeniya Botanical Garden.
After that, you will travel to Gampola. In there you will do an adventurous climb to Ambuluwawa Tower.
On the way to Kandy, you will visit the National Gem Museum and wood carving factories.

Kandy to Kithulgala and Nuwara Eliya
In the early morning on this day, you will travel to Kitulgala from Kandy.
You will have a professionally operated white-water rafting session on the Kelani River, or a non-rafting alternative such as a guided rainforest walk or birdwatching.

After the activities in Kitulgala, we will travel to Nuwara Eliya.

Nuwara Eliya to Ella
In the morning of this day, you will visit Gregory Lake. Next you will visit a tea factory and an estate.
Next you will explore some notable places in Nuwara Eliya city. Later, you will come to Nanu Oya railway station for an amazing train ride to Ella.

Ella Highlights
Begin with a guided walk — Ella Rock for a longer outing, or Little Adam’s Peak for a shorter alternative with wide mountain views. Continue to the Nine Arch Bridge and enjoy free time in town.

Yala National Park Safari

Tissamaharama to Hikkaduwa via Galle

Hikkaduwa to Colombo
