Arrival & Sigiriya

Arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport and transfer to Sigiriya. After check-in, spend the late afternoon or evening exploring the area around the iconic rock fortress. Enjoy the landscape at sunset and settle into the Cultural Triangle. An orientation on the sustainable and indigenous focus of the journey will be provided.

Sigiriya & Polonnaruwa Ancient City

Begin the day with a climb of Sigiriya Rock Fortress (or Pidurangala for wider views) to experience the ancient site in good light. Afterward, travel to the nearby ancient city of Polonnaruwa.
